Our prayers have been answered, Weekday has arrived in Amsterdam

A long, long time ago (around ten years) I remember starting to see items by Weekday on the blogs of Swedish bloggers and being insanely jealous. Ordering online? Not yet an option. And my dads credit card was off-limits to me too. Years later, while visiting Berlin, I found myself shopping in the walhalla I created in my head and it was every inch as good as I thought it would be. And now, finally, Weekday has arrived in Amsterdam. Thank god, we don’t need to pick flea markets apart anymore to look like a modern day hipster.

Ever been to the shop near Hackescher Markt in Berlin? Well, this one is about twice as big. Three stories high with both the men’s and women’s collections. ‘Our’ Weekday carries MTWTFSS WEEKDAY, Cheap Monday, MTWTFSS WEEKDAY COLLECTION, Weekday Vintage, Weekday Collaboration and Weekday Storemade. This last one includes t-shirts that are being screen-printed right in front of you.

Besides these brand they also carry Örjan Andersson, Christophe Lemaire, BACK, Cedric Jacquemyn, and Rodebjer (Yay!). So basically, the only store you need to visit from now on. Also, maybe cool to mention: the interior was designed by Berlin based architect duo Gonzalez Haase. It’s very pretty. But what am I talking about? Just look at the pictures I took at the opening!
