Meet Kim, a 27 year old epicurean pur sang. She likes cats, loves day dreaming and adores red wine. Her quest in life is to constantly look for Amsterdam's hidden gems and become a walking encyclopedia of Amsterdam's best spots.

When I was 16, I had to choose whether or not I wanted to graduate in philosophy. I finally decided philosophy was something for very intelligent and dusty people and that I was definitely not one of them. My life existed out of MTV, MSN and Breezers back then. During college I had to take a scientific philosophy exam and guess what: surprisingly, it was quite interesting! The more I learned about all the philosophers, the more I got to like it.

All the people who had the same experience as I had, and especially all the people who still think philosophy is only boring, have to join Brandstof’s philosophical run-up for their Lowlands program called LowSofie. On Wednesday the 25th they will host Hollands first philosophical talent show called So You Think?! at Trouw’s basement De Verdieping. Young philosophers will compete for a spot at Lowlands and an interview in Filosofie Magazine. Meet the next generation of philosophers for a intellectual AND entertaining night.
