Recently the new magazine by students from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute was launched, titled TIGER DRAGON SLAYERS from the Underworld. Of course I was there, not only to support a close friend who is on the editorial staff, but also to show you guys how fashionable tiger dragon slayers really are.

The magazine itself is a colourful one, different from what you’re probably used to. The contributors pride themselves in not being mainstream. Photo-shoots in kebab joints, male models sporting female fashion; you name it. They proudly invite you into their exciting world of being different (but in a non-Lady Gaga kind of way). It’s for sale at the AMFI Statement Store at Spui, together with some nice jewellery, but there are plenty of places where you can get it. I have a hunch it’s going to sell out soon, so get your hands on a copy while you can! Plus –I’m way too excited not to include this– there’s also an article in there about the demise of feminism because of certain lifestyle blogs, written by yours truly! Now, on to the fashion.
