Last year I had myself a wee taste of Taste 2011. I started out the evening by checking the perimeter, attending a few workshops and finally ending the night at a cider stall. Here, I was introduced to a variety of scrumptious ciders and a mind-boggling hangover.

The crème de la crème in the food and drink department

Taste is an international festival that has been to London, Edinburgh, Dublin and Melbourne. The concept of Taste is to offer the audience of Amsterdam the crème de la crème in the food and drink department. Visitors can enjoy several workshops, such as wine tasting, or ask their favourite Dutch celebrity chef how he makes his scrambled eggs extra special.

This year the fourth edition of the food feast will take place from the 31st of May until the 3rd of June in Amstelpark, Amsterdam. I can highly recommend this fun food gathering for all you food machines out there so whiz yourself down to Amstelpark to taste for yourself!
