Rob is 28 (but needs his beard to actually look like it), loves music, adventures and spontaneous people. His scribblings are about these things too, so if you share his interests, stay tuned!

Australia’s Boy & Bear are the new Mumford & Sons, and then some more. Everyone will hear the similarities with 2009’s hype, but for me their songs just feel a bit more complete. Hits aside, I never really got into the whole album, whereas Boy & Bear’s Moonfire has been playing from front to back for a while now. After recent well received gigs at Motel Mozaique (Rotterdam) and in Bitterzoet they are ready to take over Amsterdam’s pop temple Paradiso in August. Go see now they’re still small!

Boy & Bear
When: August 20th
Where: Paradiso
