And although most might immediately link these concepts to commerce, I however rather link these to the concept of love. The concept of loving your mother. That one day where your mother takes the spotlight and the one evening where you deserve to go all out on her behalf at Je Moedernacht.

Where hippity hop meets beats like disco

The blog Je Moeder, read Yo Mamma, has been around for quite some time now and hosts Je Moedernacht. A night before Mothers Day where all party crashing, music adoring, mother loving youngsters come together to do a little dance, make a little love and get down at night.

And getting down is something that is guaranteed. With music like bounce, people like down, girls like auch, and caps like up. As this year’s theme is Petje Op!, or ‘cap on!’. Hippity hop will meet beats like disco. Pretty Young Trouble will prove they are worthy of their name, Kypski will turn all tables, Carboard Motel vs. Elias will battle for a sit down, and Feest DJ Ruud will not leave the last man standing.

Forget about all that is commerce and spread the love in your mother’s name. Make her proud by being the king of the dance floor. And put your cap on as a sign of respect to your mother.
