Cinema Egzotik is a monthly returning curated movie night by Ronald Simons and Martin Koolhoven. Trailers, inspirational fragments and rip-offs from film history are given hilarious critique and commentary. These movie nights previously took place in the Balie but they have found a new place to call home in EYE. For this upcoming event Martin and Ronald will be showing two classics:

The Thing (1982): A group of American scientists on the south pole encounter a alien creature which has been frozen for centuries. Because it can transform itself in to a dog or human there is a constant tension of who can be trusted and who can’t. A must see.

Big Trouble in Little China (1986): Kurt Russel takes you on a trip through fantasy, martial arts, horror and Western in this adrenaline cinema from the ’80s. Kurt fights a underground devilish empire in chinatown, San Francisco.
