When I learned that Steve McQueen was going to transform the Vondelpark, thanks to Robert’s article, I felt an instant need to document it. How often does something like this happen in our city? Once standing at the park, I started to feel blue. Due to the new light bulbs, visibility was truly modified. All I could see while walking through the park where bikers and runner’s lights. It was quiet, dark, it was almost like I had stepped into a horror film, and my own shadow scared me a few times.
