Amsterdam’s fastest growing techno concept is back, and once again bigger than ever before. The knights of Chateau Techno have claimed a new building to use as their party castle, and this time it’s the very beautiful and raw Transformatorhuis. And not just for one night until 7am, they’ve gone for a weekender: day one is called ‘medium’ power, but only compared to day two’s ‘full power’ violence. Expect lasers, smoke, fire and huge sound system!
DAY 1: Eric Sneo, Jon Gurd, Secret Cinema & more
On the first night, Germany’s Eric Sneo and Englands Jon Gurd headline together with Rotterdam’s biggest techno hero Secret Cinema. Sneo is mostly known from his legendary live sets including live drums and other instruments, but will perform a groovy DJ set on this night. Englishman Jon Gurd is second act on the bill and will provide addition tech-house and techno sounds (listen below). This will be his debut in Holland btw. The other acts on the bill, Secret Cinema, Ici Sans Merci and Jurwin Abbo, should not need introduction to local party regulars.DAY 2: Industrialyzer, Nihad Tule, Nima Khak & more
Most of you technoheads are not familiar with the word ‘stopping’. Therefore, a second day extension would make this event complete. Not just any extension, but how about one with an international techno star like Industrialyzer LIVE, all the way from Portugal. This man (Ricardo Rodrigues) is single handedly responsible for re-booting the techno sound after his collaborations with Cisco from The Advent for example. Furthermore, the infamous techno label Drumcode will be spotlighted on this day with two Swedish representatives behind the decks, Nihad Tule and Nima Khak. Finally, two local heroes will support this international line-up: Invite and Esther Duijn.Chateau Techno weekender
