We live in a time of economic crisis and we are ready for change! This may be true, but sounds rather boring doesn’t it? Add debate and serious matters to this and it becomes even worse. Student association happyChaos is going to prove you wrong. On February 15th they are hosting an evening filling program called Momentum. This won’t be another old-fashioned and boring debate between some grey-haired intellectuals, but will be presented by the students, scientists, comedians, artists and writers that are going to look after the economy of the future.
Highly concerned professors such as Ewald Engelen (professor financial geography) will debate over sustainable solutions for the future and inspiring entrepreneurs like Irene Rompa (TEDx Amsterdam) will share her ideas about how to contribute to a more maintainable economic landscape. To spice it up, comedy duo De Gebroeders Fretz and comedian Patrick Nederkoorn will also hit the stage to give a performance. Although the chairs at Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam are pretty comfortable, it’ll also be possible to get your booty shaking to some funk, soul and jazz music. And even though happyChaos is presenting us an evening filled with extremely intellectual conversations, they are still a bunch of students, so an afterparty in Café Cox is in order. The DJ’s of Night Flight will entertain you till 3 am.
