Sonic Soirée is an intimate mini version of Sonic Connections, the pop & rock festival that De Brakke Grond hosts each Spring. It’s a great chance to discover new Flemish and Dutch bands before they break through to mass fame. This edition features Belgians Pebbles and the Riverman –an exceptionally successful combination of raw soul, Spanish duende and references to poetic texts–, their fellow countrymen and electro-poppers Teddiedrum, and the darker, more melancholic Dutch folk singer Leendert.
