Do you consider New Year’s Eve one of the biggest clichés of the year too? The build-up to the 31st of December seems to last forever, everything is hyped up to extremes, tickets cost an arm and a leg, and when the big countdown show finally arrives.. it never lives up to the hype. This is our strong advice for the end of 2011: stay home with some friends and family and enjoy some home-made oliebollen and appelflappen. And buy a ticket to our F*CK NYE party on the 30th of December.

Next Year’s Hangover – F*CK NYE! edition

If you’re not familiar with Next Monday’s Hangover, it’s both our weekly night-life guide and a series of events by Overdose.am. Check out the aftermovie made of our last edition Midnight Wonderland to get an idea of what to expect. The upcoming NMH edition is for all the people that want to enjoy a good countdown, toast some champagne, kiss their friends and ceremonially quit smoking, all while screaming “Happy New Year!”. Oh no, wait, that’s not what this party is about. We’ll do the countdown, champagne, kissing, etc, but we’re gonna be screaming “F*CK NYE!” instead.

No ridiculous hype & normally priced tickets, but with everything that makes New Year’s Eve fun.

After Midnight Wonderland’s success we decided that we had to go back to Het Sieraad for one more round. To the people who were there last time, we have put measures in place to make sure the queues at the door, wardrobe and toilets will be much smaller.
