Seeing someone’s work, whether it’s a photograph, a painting or even a building, sometimes I feel that I’m interpreting a piece of art in the way it is meant to be interpreted. However, sometimes designers confront me with a piece of work that I just can’t get my head around. Ever wanted to hear from the professionals where they find their inspiration?

OpenHaard is an evening full of inspiration with talks from the people who actually know what they’re talking about. After being part of the 26th edition, I realised how interesting this is. Some ideas are so simple and it seems as if these professionals have managed to whittle their ideas down to the core. The essence is all that’s left over, giving them the clarity we are all looking for. No, I’m not talking about just any professionals here, some of the top guns out of the business reveal their secrets before your very eyes.

Trouw sets the stage for the guests down in the basement and the OpenHaard host gives the speakers a bit of a grilling. This is all about finding out the real answer to our burning questions.
