Magneet Festival has been going on for a few weeks now and the buzz around it seems to be growing by the day. For those who haven’t heard about it yet, it’s a monthlong co-creation festival where visitors can submit, shape and launch their own concepts. Their philosophy is summed up best with this quote: “No spectators, only participators”. Sounds interesting right? There’s one weekend left to go and a proper house and techno festival will make sure that Magneet ends with a bang.
Initiators and DJs Isis and Tettero have taken the lead and invited prominent house and techno organizations such as Bar 27, Plak and Chateau Techno to make sure the music on offer will be of the highest possible quality. With names like Tom Ruijg, Pete Bandit & Jason Shae, William Kouam Djoko, Juan Sanchez, Sandrien and many more quality DJs I can personally say that this side of the event will not disappoint. Of course Magneet Festival is about more than music, so expect a giant playground filled with art and entertainment.
There will be two tents and the sandy floor drains rain away quickly, so even this summer’s rainy weather should not be a problem if it acts up again, but let’s not jinx things.
