Get a chance to see new work by new artists and Foam photographers, while enjoying drinks on the house. Foam Pop-in strives to offer you a view of what’s hot right now in the world of photography. Based at the Museumplein, the location is hard to miss.

Visual inspiration

This edition will feature work by Ruth van Beek, a graduate from the Rietveld Academy, who specializes in collage art, in ways that are different than you would expect, you really should come and have a look. Marcus Koppen will show some of his work as well. He is known for his hard-to-miss portraits (such as Rotterdam’s poet and night mayor Jules Deelder) and images of industrial architecture that seem to exclude any form of humanity, while its inhabitants are expected to live and work in them. So it’s drinks, art and music. This time the music’s by Abel Minnee, a photographer who, as it turns out, knows good music too.

Other photographers that are featured in this edition are: Henze Boekhout, Fleur van Dodewaard, Anouk Kruithof, Charlott Markus, Awoiska van der Molen and Raimond Wouda.
