Rob is 28 (but needs his beard to actually look like it), loves music, adventures and spontaneous people. His scribblings are about these things too, so if you share his interests, stay tuned!

A mixtape from an Amsterdam based DJ every Monday to kick-start your new week. Archive here.

Thomas Martojo made today’s Mixtape Monday. As a part of the Dekmantel Collective (founded in 2007 by three like-minded friends: Martojo, Casper Tielrooij & Jan van Kampen) he has done a lot of things in our little town. DJing everywhere, organizing events such as Nicolas Jaar in Paradiso and their two-day Kabinet festival, hosting areas at festival like Awakenings and managing a record label and booking agency. Yes, that is a lot! What Thomas likes to play includes house and techno, bits of UK stuff, the odd disco tune.. Listen to his podcast or check out Dekmantel Soundsystem at our festival next Sunday.

Thomas Martojo – Move On Up (Mixtape Monday for Overdose.am) by Mixtape Monday

Included are classic cuts by Curtis Mayfield, Theo Parrish, Larry Heard and Chez Damier mixed with new tunes from the likes of Caribou, 2562, Boddika and Joy Orbison. I’ve also put in an unreleased Funkineven track which will be released on Dekmantel Records after the summer!
