Jerry is the name, online is my game. I'm a digital enthusiast, ranging from old skool gaming and Space Invaders to iPads and social media. The integration of digital elements in everyday life and art have my particular interest, and besides that I'm part time rockaholic.

Pauline van Dongen made her entrance at Amsterdam International Fashion Week this season. Needles to say, a very impressing one! Pauline’s collection ‘Kinetic Landscapes’ consisted of dresses with graphic lines and unexpected shapes in a colour palette of orange, blue, grey and black.

For this collection Pauline was inspired by the powerful force of water and air that both can make big changes to different landscapes. I red on her website:’ I was struck by the seemingly unremarkable changes in nature which only become visible after many centuries and I wanted to recreate the lines and undulations that mark the deterioration of the earth’s surface.’ Cleary another example of a designer that loves intellectual explanations. However, I was blown away by the silhouettes of some of the dresses. Sculptural, but at the same time minimalistic and wearable. This is definitely not the last time we hear about Pauline van Dongen!
