A mixtape from an Amsterdam based DJ every Monday to kick-start your new week. Archive here.
I should’ve known asking DJs to make a podcast during the weekend was a bad idea. Luckily the Watt brothers (Timothy Watt & Watt JR.) saved the day by jumping into the studio and delivering this “jackinghousefreakin’straightoutofthestudio-mix”. A day late, but nevertheless another great mix. If you like their sound, make sure you attend Overdose.am’s art-music-fashion summer festival Next Monday’s Hangover – Out in the open, because they’ll be making an appearance behind the decks.

House-music may have it’s origin from a Chicago nightclub called ‘The Warehouse’ which existed from 1977 to 1983. Now 2011, Let the Watt Bros take you back in time. Enjoy the trip.

Mixtape Monday: Satori is going into the void
Today is all about Satori. After the interview with him we published earlier today, a podcast was the logical thing to follow. For this weeks Mixtape Monday edition, Satori hit the studio for a jam session with the jazz pianist that is also part of his live set-up: Fat Fingers. The result is a set going into depth with a focus on what Satori calls sphere. What that feels like and means is something I’ll let you experience for yourself. Just hit the play button below!
