In our little dam we all look for that next fix in the form of an adrenaline rush, chocolate or new place which will rock our socks off. The 25th of June our friends of Vers Vermaak are providing the citizens of Amsterdam with a blend of fun, food and adventure. So my advice? Get your butt to new found playground Roest and find your inner Troubadour at Pique-Nique.
Pique- Nique des Troubadours is a brand new alternative festival which wants to provide its guests with something different than other festivals with DJs and bands. It is located at Roest, which according to our new recruit Ciaran is fully Overdose proof. The guests are invited to hang out on the beach/grass and spread their checkered picknick cloth. You will be entertained by troubadours, musicians, street artists, DJ’s, storytellers and poets, whilst enjoying your fully provided picknick basket. Both inside and outside there are stages on which artists such as Pien Feith and contemporary jazz quintet Pubelle will thump your eardrums.
After the picknick there will be a après-pique-nique with Eric de Man, Pitto, Steye and Moraalridder.Would you like to join this picknick extravaganza?
