Although extravagant parties are a common part of the fashion world, finding the events you truly enjoy can be hard at times. Xaviera and I attended the 10th birthday party of one my favourite sophisticated fashion labels out there: Filippa K. It was a day of rushing from appointment to appointment and this party, being the last on my hectic schedule, was supposed to be a case of hit and run.
But truth be told, the magic of Amsterdam, the sunny P.C. Hooftstraat (where the store is located), the amazing synergy of the crowd and not to mention the lovely drinks and bites got to me. I couldn’t help but stay and look at the fashionable guests enjoying the party with us.
And because it’s been way too long since you last saw ordinary people looking fabulous and extraordinary, I thought I’d give you some new material to feast your eyes on. With a special shout out to the men who stepped up their stylish game up: looking classy, dandy and very Amsterdam chic.
