We are Tamar & Rutger, 25 and 28 years old! We love to integrate photography in every aspect of our lives. Every day we wake up with new and creative ideas to make this happen! Want to know more about us send an email to rutger@overdose.am or tamar@overdose.am!

What is the best way to show you what’s going on in our world, also known as the village of Amsterdam? Exactly, visual stimuli! Amsterdam Aperture is a recurring photography series by us (Rutger & Tamar), in which we give you a sneak peek in our world, and show you how we experience our city.

Many of us probably remember Club 11 all too well. Awesome music, an impressive location and a vibrant atmosphere. Unfortunately, Club 11 was closed down a few years ago and is now being destructed. Piece by piece our memories are wrecked into segments of concrete. Sadly there’ll be no more nights of bouncing around on pulsating electro on the eleventh floor whilst overlooking the city, until the sun rose above the IJ. Oh, how I miss those wonderful nights…

To keep these precious memories alive, we’ve undertaken several photo trips and attempted to capture the rough beauty of this worn down place in both analogue and digital form. Dear Club 11: rest in peace, our memories will last forever.
