As you may recall, I recently told you about a great way to empty your wallet: paying a visit to Europe’s biggest stock and sample sale called The Fashion Lisst. Last Friday I attended the opening event to support a great cause and to see if the stock was really as big and fabulous as I hoped it would be.

Although the sample sale itself was quite fun if you were lucky enough to find some awesome pieces, such as the killer Acne heels I treated myself to, it wasn’t as big as I had expected. I did like the pink carpet, the manicure stand, the cupcakes and the various catwalk shows that were presented. Great designers such as Monique Collignon, Marloes Blaas and Michael Bernaart van Bergen were kind enough to not only present the audience with a show, but also auction off one-of-a kind pieces from their collections for Kika.

Apart from the high level of “Polder Glam” (the Dutchies will know what I mean by this), I applaud the initiative as a way of bringing fashion closer to helping others. While browsing the collections and trying to find more hidden gems, I bumped into some pretty fashionable people. See the results below in 12 pictures.
