About the author
Jerry is the name, online is my game. I'm a digital enthusiast, ranging from old skool gaming and Space Invaders to iPads and social media. The integration of digital elements in everyday life and art have my particular interest, and besides that I'm part time rockaholic.

All you Duck Hunters, Space Invaders and Pacmen out there, fancy a trip down memory lane? Here is the opportunity for that long forgotten revenge game. We already told you about the arcade exhibition at Mediamatic that’s been going on for a while now, but they expanded their collection of retro gaming devices with a wide range of consoles. From the first Videopac in 1978 (yes kids, there actually was some form of gaming back then) and Atari, to a modern-day device like Kinect. It appears Mediamatic even heard Rob’s plea for Sonic, because the infamous hedgehog is also present.

This gives us an exhibition that equals game console heaven. What makes it even better is that you don’t just have to stare amazed at this controller galore, you can actually join in for a game on every kind of device your wildest dreams and fantasies can come up with. All of your regular home-computer devices are waiting to be stroked or bashed by some light-fingered hands. And forget about Pong as you know it for a second; what about a 4-player game of Pong, or even Smoke Pong played with cigarettes? Or creating a bizarre pattern on the knitting game, and stare yourself to victory in a staring competition. All in all, the exhibition offers some top-notch entertainment.

A day of pure gaming pleasure and unlimited gaming credit, for only a fiver. You can even take granny with you for free and get in with a 50% discount if you’re a student. Game’s over the 27th of March.
