Rob is 28 (but needs his beard to actually look like it), loves music, adventures and spontaneous people. His scribblings are about these things too, so if you share his interests, stay tuned!

2010 isn’t even over yet, but I am already getting excited about some of next years events. 5 Days Off, the yearly club festival featuring the latest hypes in electronic music, have revealed a big batch of new names today and with these new addition the line-up is slowly taking shape. I have already started to clear my agenda on a few days, because as always, you can trust the 5 Days Off crew to deliver a quality line-up (previous years delivered with artists like Deadmau5, Santogold and Richie Hawtin).

Day 1 in the Melkweg is looking like the night to mark down for fans of indie electronica, with a DJ set from Caribou and a performance by one of my favourite new bands Gold Panda. Day 4 has local club nights Foxes and Wolves and Colors hosting the Melkweg and Paradiso respectivly. Foxes and Wolves stands for nu-disco, with Hercules and Love Affair, Aeroplane and The Twelves already booked. Colors stands for funky garage, house and dubstep, with UK DJ/producer Joy Orbison leading the line-up for them. So if you like sleazy disco or raw bass sounds, grab your agenda now.
