Henrik Vibskov’s travelling pop-up store visits Amsterdam

Henrik Vibskov, a Danish fashion designer and passionate musician recently launched a “travelling” concept store, and guess what, Amsterdam is its first destination. Last Thursday, Henrik launched his pop-up concept in one of my favourite stores in Amsterdam, SPR-SPECIALS/SPR-SPACE. The pop-up store itself will move around the world, staying for 100 days per city, while reflecting on the current show and the theme of the collection.

“Inspired by all the travelling and by not committing to a long-term lease, we are free to experiment with spaces and installations and present the full collection.

As I entered the store, the installations that made up the interior caught my eyes the most, the set-up was very creative. If you have noticed Henrik’s work before, you will know that he always tries to build his collections into some sort of a mini universe. I always find them to be really colourful yet very simple.

Besides the full collection, you can also expect to see some show-pieces and pieces that did not make it to the showroom on display in the store.
