Hi, I'm Rutger, 26 years old Amsterdam lover with a high interest in photography and music! Want to know more about us (or me) send an email to rutger@overdose.am! YEW!

Last Saturday, 4 pm sharp, about twenty thousand culture lovers cried their hearts out for at least one hour in front of Amsterdam’s City Theatre at Leidseplein. The ‘Netherlands scream for culture’ initiative encouraged all these people to scream on top of their lungs and featured speakers such as Ivo Niehe, Sophie Hilbrand and Cornald Maas against ‘the impoverishment of the cultural life’.

As an art and culture lover myself, I had to be there to scream and to stamp my feet hard for accessible culture. As a visitor and an artist myself, I took my camera with me to show you this important initiative and the importance of culture for the young and the old. So, if you don’t agree with the cutbacks of the new government either, keep screaming for accessible and affordable culture! YEEEEW!!
