About the author
Mark Visbeek is a designer, musician, superstar, and loves illeism. Always looking to create beautiful things, I'm often distracted by the amazing stuff happening around me. My most important weapons are limitless amounts of love and a faux-French accent.

A couple of weeks ago Yoga wrote about the launch party of Fromanteel’s ‘Luxury Credit Card Holder’, and promised we’d get back to you with the ‘making of’ photos for the promotional shoot. Today is the time. Our befriended bloggers at Ajanaku wrote a nice article about the photo shoot, which took place in the old Restaurant Koevoet in the Jordaan area. Photographer Reinier van der Aart was heavily inspired by the Hungarian artist Brassaï, and did a great job in recreating the high society 1920s Parisian atmosphere in the series.

I was there at the Koevoet with Rutger‘s camera to document the preparations and the ‘behind the scenes’ hustle and bustle that ultimately led to the photo series named ‘A Couple’s Night Out’. My behind the scenes impressions are found in the gallery below, and the final result can be viewed alongside the FROMANTEEL X BRASSAI article at Ajanaku.
