Times Square to Arts Square (TS2AS) is a crazy, silly, deluded and megalomanic idea, and that’s why I like it! Let me explain what I am on about: the TS2AS team wants to buy up/get donated all advertisement space on worlds most famous square and replace it all with art, even if it only lasts for 5 seconds. As you understand, just look at the feature image of this post, they have set themselves an ambitious goal. Buying it all for one day is rumoured to cost about 24 million dollars..
