You may know by now that I love watching fashion shows and getting carried away by the magic of the catwalk. That is, if the show is spectacular, the models beautiful and the outfits extravagant. I had high hopes for the third edition of the annual Grazia PC Catwalk, that was held last Sunday, and I was hoping to experience all of the above adverbs.
Although I have to give Grazia an A for effort, I can’t say that my expectations were fully met. The catwalk was simply too long to make the show continuous and the outfits were just not quite ‘it’. What I did love about the event was to see how the street was filled with beautiful young fashionistas who now had the chance of experiencing what a real fashion show feels like. For me, watching this crowd was so much more fun and real than watching the models stumble on the catwalk.
I decided to take my camera out and ask some of these lovely viewers to strike a pose, because sometimes, it’s not really about the big happening, but the little things that you notice when you look closely enough. Hope you enjoy my photos!
