Even though I wouldn’t admit to it very quickly, as a woman it is always interesting to see how men perceive us. We are the same species but seem to be different in almost every aspect. It’s still a mystery to me why I can’t read a map to save my life while he navigates through unfamiliar streets like he used to live there in a previous life. Or why I can manage to stack up a shoe collection that is bigger than his entire wardrobe. Just a few examples but you catch my drift.
On the 27th of August, an exhibition held at the I Love Vintage store might provide me with some more insights on why men are from Mars and women are from Venus. At this exposition, two male artists will show their view of the female muse on very small works of art and will show us how they perceive a woman. While strolling through their thoughts and looking at their miniature illustrations, you can enjoy live performances, a fashion show, food and bubbles, and a beautiful collection of vintage pieces in the store.
A hand illustrated miniature necklace of one of the artists will be gifted on the evening as well, so there is a chance you won’t leave empty handed. The night will be ended with an old fashioned after party like only Amsterdam can throw them! So come and join me to celebrate a lovely universal theme and who knows, maybe we will turn out not to be so different after all.
