Fall is slowly approaching and I am soaking up the last sunny days as good as I can. The thought of rain, wind and cold in the near future is sending chills up and down my spine though. Luckily, I already have something to look forward to for the summer of 2011. Yesterday, the Hannekes Boom website went online and one of next year’s biggest hot spot is now formally introducing itself to the public. Tucked in between the OBA and Nemo and on the waterside, my new hangout is slowly getting shape.
Hannekes Boom will be a bar, a biological sausage restaurant, a big outside waterside terrace, a creative hub, a docking place for small boats, a flamenco dance floor, a lounge, a cinema, build with durable materials and affordable for everyone. And best of all, they will be hosting some awesome Overdose.am events next summer. I’m going to have to stay a little bit mysterious about this cooperation, but expect big things! This could become Amsterdam’s Bar 25!
