Every summer in Amsterdam, there is the PLUK DE NACHT open air film festival that starts on August 5th and ends on August 15th. This 7th edition, a huge movie screen is presented at “Het Stenen Hoofd” (The Stone Head) with a unique selection of not-yet-released independent arthouse cinema, documentaries, short films and animations.
“Het Stenen Hoofd” is located on a beautiful old harbour side in the centre of Amsterdam where everyone (enthusiasts, professionals and even the pizza delivery boys) can come to and watch movies the old fashion way. Enjoy nice warm summer evenings and get pleased by the most beautiful films, chill-out chairs, blankets to keep you warm, the best pizzas and of course some nice tunes for a swinging end to the evening!
The admission to all festival activities and screenings is free and the programme will be available soon at the Pluk de Nacht website. As soon as they are available, a selection of the best movie trailers will be presented here on Overdose.am to make it easier to pick which night to go to.
